Ok, so where were we? Oh yes, we got the rest of the way through Arkansas and drove all the way through Tennessee in one day and into North Carolina. We stopped in to see our good friend Sylvie, who happens to be an awesome woodworker by the way (you can see some of her work here - www.woodworkersjournal.com/ezine/archive/61/todaysww.cfm ). She is currently working with Doug Sigler who has had a large hand in the woodworking department at Penland School of Crafts ( www.penland.org ). We had a great time with her. A shout out to Sylvie - Thanks for the superb hospitality! The view in the morning from our room was amazing. (White cows grazing on the mountainside, we felt like we were straight out of "Heidi".)
