Howdy everybody! We've made it most of the way across the country and we're currently hanging out with some relatives here. They've been awesome and it has made the trip much more enjoyable even with the minor mechanical quarks of a 30 year old Volkswagen. We'll probably be here in Albuquerque, NM for a few days - there is so much to do! Today we drove around the nearby back country and went to Bandelier National Monument (http://www.nps.gov/band/) it was AWESOME! Later we stopped in Santa Fe (New Mexican for Freeport, Maine) for an overpriced coffee and ice cream.
