We made it to St. Louis later than we had hoped. The fifth gear in the blue bread box is very nice, giving us about 18 mpg at times. Hopefully we can get 20+ with a little carb adjustment. We delivered our ebay auction item to the respective winner (thank you Chris-we hope you enjoy the push bar for your truck). The arch/gateway to the west was beautiful even at night ( www.stlouisarch.com ). The shimmering stainless steel overlooking the water was awe inspiring. We camped at Cuivre River state park in MO ( www.mostateparks.com/cuivre.htm ). It was in Troy just outside of St. Louis. Excellent camp sites and beautiful fall leaves!
